Mrs. Cruz
Physical Education Instructor, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and rotating Wednesdays
Mrs. Cruz graduated from Western Illinois University with a degree in Mass Communications and spent the first part of her career in Advertising and Marketing. She and her husband raised their three children (including first-grade teacher Ms. Maddie Cruz) in the Mt. Greenwood neighborhood. While raising her children, Mrs. Cruz continued to work part-time in sales and compliance for several large pharmaceutical companies. She served four years as a Board Member of the Southwest Chicago Christian Schools and worked as their yearbook advisor, teaching students the fundamentals of yearbook planning, design, and print.
She is excited to bring her broad expertise and her love of fitness to the classroom. In her free time, she loves exercising and spending time with her family and dogs. Mrs. Cruz looks forward to helping the students build their love of fitness.
